Our Sunday morning service is an exciting blend of Scriptural teaching with congregational interaction.  Pastor Nevil's early fundamental training gave him a vision that there was a need to insure that the pastor's aren't the only men that know the bible.  God has ordered us all to know His word and to be ready to preach it or teach it on any occasion. (2 Tim. 4:2) To this end, the Narrow Gate employs Yeshua (Jesus Christ).  'katecheo' method of instructional questions and correcting answers. The whole church body is involved from reading the scriptures to quick quizzes, to demonstrations,  teachings and  sermons from the Pastor.

We believe whole heartedly in praise and worship, for worship is for and about Almighty God.  We also believe that praise and worship and a gospel concert are two different things.  We love singing and giving glory to God, but are for studying and living God's word more.

One of the major developments that characterize the last fifty years of so-called modern Christianity is the loss of faith. As the western world especially  the United States has grown more educated, industrialized, mechanized and computerized, the places where Christianity was once dominant have become places that are more impressed with the accomplishments of men. Science and technology have puffed up man’s ego. God has become relegated to spandex necessity. If HE (GOD) doesn’t fit the way man needs HIM, then he doesn’t fit! Instead of man being measured by GOD”S word and spirit, GOD Himself is being measured by man’s scientific and egotistic barometer. The result of this insane thinking is man’s incredible faith in scientific theory and Hollywood hype.

 On the other side this has produced an almost fanatical doubt in the Bible. Elementary schools and major institutions of learning which were once founded on a verbalized allegiance to GOD now laugh and scoff at the thought of HIS very existence. Modern day preaching produces more doubt than it does faith. Correct biblical teaching is not endured and living a life for GOD has become absurd and archaic.
