Fortunately GOD has always had a remnant. There are still people who know
that 'The Way' of Yeshua ben Yusef (Jesus Christ) is the only way to live period. Many of
these people have become disillusioned by the empty secular materialism,
bankrupt religious ritual, nepotism, favoritism, and racism that exist in
many of GOD’s so-called churches. These people have searched the scriptures
for a reborn vision of what Jesus church should be.
The Narrow Gate Church of Christ in Charlotte NC is
a planting of that vision. The Narrow Gate Church believes
that you must be a disciple of Jesus to have a relationship with GOD and
therefore be a Christian. Further we believe that Christ’s church is to be
made up of disciples only and that they need not apologize for putting GOD
first in their life and making Jesus Lord over their life. We live in a time
when the dollar and prosperity alone is slyly being preached as a
relationship with GOD, with no teaching as to obedience to GOD. The Narrow
Gate is a small family oriented church that believes in building big people
for GOD and not just erecting big buildings and calling them places where
GOD is supposed to be. The instructional and motivational ministry of the
Narrow Gate is driven by the command/commission to “go forth, baptizing,
making disciples and teach them to obey” (Matt: 28: 18-20). This
no-nonsense, no-compromise of the scriptures stand is a breath of fresh air
in a stench of denominational mediocrity.
